HOME care packages
How HCP works for Food Businesses
Home Care Packages (HCP) is a government program designed to help senior Australians stay at home for longer and includes access to partially funded meals. Recipients are required to pay for only 30% of the cost of the meal, while the Care Provider pays for the remainder.
Historically it has been difficult for HCP recipients to access a wide variety of high quality, locally produced meals. Offering locally-made seasonal meals produced in small batches can enhance the quality of life for older Australians.
