Where it all began
An idea born on a street corner
Back in 2018 we were neighbours with young families, struggling to put home-cooked food on the table every night. We came across a couple of fantastic professional cooks who provided nutritious family food once a week for time-poor families. Gold!
The cost was reasonable, we felt good about the food we were feeding to our kids, and great about supporting lovely local small businesses.
But with no bespoke software program available, they were overwhelmed with admin and had little opportunity to grow. We discovered there were many more like them, and wondered how these kinds of businesses could thrive. And that's when Cookaborough was born!
